Autobiography of Peter Mt. Shasta 30% off through Christmas! Book I & Book II
I found this book fascinating, informative and uplifting. Peter Mt. Shasta writes about his life and his experiences in India in the 1970s with honesty and humour. Along the way he encounters many teachers who I am familiar with, such as Neem Karoli Baba and Anandamayi Ma, and it was interesting to read his accounts of his experiences with these teachers. Some of these experiences may challenge some peoples' beliefs as to what is possible, but Peter Mt. Shasta's honesty shines through. Well-written and thoroughly enjoyable. I am just beginning the sequel.... (Amazon customer).
This is a book of instruction...the lessons the Masters are teaching their pupil, Peter Mt. Shasta, are absorbed with interest and without obvious mental effort. The whole story rings true, but...many of the happenings described in the book are fantastic beyond belief.
It is the story of a remarkable man's life, but above all it is a carefully detailed book of spiritual instruction and full of lessons which any of us can apply to our own lives.
I don't suppose I will ever meet the author but if I ever did I would like to thank him personally for his inspiring life and the encouragement he has given me in this book.
